Happy New Year!

An interesting start to 2022.

First I want to thank all of you for your kind thoughts for me and my family.  Our sicklies are on the mend in quarantine and the rest of us are doing okay.  I tested negative on Friday morning and have had no COVID symptoms as of today—Monday.  Praying that we’ll all be in the COVID negative column by the end of the week. Praying that all of you are healthy as well.

As I mentioned in the email, we will be online for this week of January 10 – 14.  For newer players or those who can’t do online, we can discuss your situations individually.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on the situation and hope that this latest surge works itself out soon.

RECITAL
Well, not exactly what we were expecting.  As you read in the email sent out last week, we are postponing the recital until later when the current wave of COVID and other illness has passed.  We WILL have our recital, but likely it will be in February.  I’ll keep you posted.

SPRING SESSION CALENDAR
The full Spring Session calendar is below.  We may use Master Class Week in February as a rehearsal week, but I will follow up on that in the coming weeks.  Please note that Master Class Week in March will coincide with Spring Break for Kerrville.  Also note that Easter Break, like last year, will begin the Tuesday before Easter and run through the Monday after Easter, since that is a holiday for many schools.
