Summer Session
We’re nearing the halfway point for our summer session!

After we all celebrate USA 250! this weekend, we’ll begin the second half of our session.

Our Master Class Week will be July 20-24.

That week also presents a special opportunity for our school-aged students. In addition to our regular master classes, I encourage our youth students to consider joining Schreiner University’s Summer String Camp. See details below.

Master Class Week and Make-ups

July 20-24 will be our Master Class Week. Master Classes offer a chance to practice performance and also to study different skills than what we focus on in private lessons.

Beginner students will have regular lessons that week. If necessary we will adjust your lesson to another time.

The location for our classes remains TBA until everything is finalized for the strings camp.

I will send a follow up message with the location information as soon as possible.

MASTER CLASS WEEK
Monday, July 20 
5:00-5:55 Elementary & Middle School Master Class
6:00-6:55 High School Master Class
7:00-8:30 Adult Master Class

This is also our make-up week. If you had travel or camp days that require a make-up lesson, this is a good week to schedule one. Just let me know if you need one and we’ll find a good time.

Schreiner University Summer String Camp

This year Schreiner University will be including Guitar Ensemble with their Summer String Camp for the week of July 20-24! 

The camp is lead by Schreiner Music Faculty including Dr. Gene Dowdy (violinist and conductor extraordinaire), Jacobi Caldwell (all strings and songwriting), and yours truly, plus other talented teachers and players.

I will be leading the classes for the in guitar technique and guitar ensemble in the mornings. Then you will have opportunities for collaboration with other musicians in the afternoons. Afternoons include electives opportunities in digital audio, songwriting, group/ensemble playing, and improvisation. There will even be time to relax at the pool and the gym!
