Update on Guitar Ensembles

Everyone participating in the Ensemble Recital has received music and begun working on parts.

Be sure to include those pieces in your practice sessions. The more prepared you are for the rehearsal the more enjoyable it is and the more productive we can be with the time.

Learn your parts well! Remember that there are often different rhythms being played by others in the ensemble, so you need be confident about what you are playing and how it is counted.

Rehearsal weeks are also good opportunities for make-up lessons for those who have one, so let me know as we get closer.

Ensemble Rehearsal Week

We’ve moved our Ensemble Rehearsal Week to Nov. 2nd – 5th in order to give a bit more time to get our parts under our fingers. The rehearsal schedule is below.  I need to finalize the locations for the rehearsals, so I will send the full schedule next week. I tried to accommodate individual schedules as best I could, so the times are tailored to each group.

The rehearsal schedule replaces the usual lesson schedule for the week.

If you have a make up or other lesson to do, we will discuss that at your lesson this week.
