UPDATE
Master Classes
Many apologies for the info in the master classes in the main February Newsletter. My intention was to move the master class times to start at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 to allow more breathing room for students which extra-curriculars and those who have to travel a bit.

And the Adult Master Class will meet on TUESDAY, Feb. 24th. (Unfortunately I cut a pasted from a previous newsletter and didn’t make the correct changes.)

So here is the actual master class schedule for next week!

MASTER CLASS WEEK
Monday, February 23 
4:30-5:25 Elementary Master Class, Music Education Building, 2nd floor. Piano Classroom
5:30-6:25 Middle School Master Class, Music Education Building, 2nd floor. Piano Classroom
6:30-7:30 High School Master Class, Music Education Building, 2nd floor. Piano Classroom

Directions: From the university’s main gate off of Memorial Blvd, turn right at the stop sign and follow the road to the next stop sign (at the tennis courts). Turn left and the Music building will be on your right just past the new athletic building. Parking is available in the lot across from the building.

Tuesday, February 24
6:30-8:30 Adult Master Class, CCAC, Theater Room at the back of the building.

Directions: The CCAC is located directly in front of you as you enter the campus through the main gate.  Turn left at the stop sign and follow the road around to the parking lot to the side of the building. Enter the CCAC main doors on the right and go straight back to the very end of the buiding. The Theater Room is in the corner on the right.

Mirabilis Mystery Tour to Hill Country Luthier Michael Fontenot

I need to get a head count for our Mirabilis Mystery Tour! This year we will visit guitar builder Michael Fontenot’s studio in Fredericksburg. Michael is a longtime resident of the Hill Country and an old friend.

This field trip will be on Saturday, March 7 at 10:00am in Fredericksburg and is open to everyone in our studio.
