Mirabilis guitarists made a beautiful contribution to the annual Classical Music Concert hosted by the Hill Country Chorale.  Congratulations to performers Paul Valenza, Mary Cornett, Savannah Potucek and David Villareal as well as David’s mom Edith performing on flute.  Great job!

It’s cold outside, but Spring Break is just around the corner.  We’ll have a couple of days of master classes for those enjoying a staycation.  You can also schedule a make up lesson if you need.

Our master classes are during Spring Break week for all the schools, including Schreiner University.  So this year and we’re going to try a new master class for our beginners.  For all of the classes, in addition to playing guitar together, we’ll be touring a variety instruments and checking out the recording studio.

Mark your calendars! Our studio recital is scheduled for Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 PM.  All students should be considering a piece that they would like to play, either solo or duet.  Let’s discuss it at your next lesson.

I have a growing number of guitars for sale for those interested in upgrading either the size or the quality of instrument.  I have a few 3/4-size and a nice 7/8-size, as well as some full-size instruments.  Most of these have been lightly played and only need a cleaning and new set of strings.  These are bargain deals so let me know if you’re interested.
