Reminder: Spring Recital & Practicing

Marching In
March started off this past Saturday with a our inaugural Mirabilis Mystery Tour of Hearts’ Home Acoustics in Boerne. We had a great visit! Learned about the different types of acoustic guitars and got a chance to peruse a very diverse collection of instruments. Manager Chaney Rutherford gave us a gracious welcome and filled us in on many of the options available. His sons even offered us free coffee! Thanks to all who participated. It’s good to know there is a great music store just 30 minutes south of us.
We have make ups available during Spring Break and so please take a look at the details below.

Spring Break

No regular lessons next week because of Spring Break (March 10-14).

But Make-up lessons will be offered on Tuesday, March 11th. Contact me or ask me at your lesson this week to set up a time.

I’ve finally been able to correct the Mirabilis Studio listing on Google and Google Maps so that it comes up in the right location at the Schreiner University Trailhead!

Reminder: Spring Recital & Practicing

Our Spring Recital is scheduled for Sunday, May 18th. It can be a solo piece or a duet with your instructor. Choose something you enjoy! The more time you have with it the more comfortable you’ll be.

Which reminds me to remind you…Remember that regular, short practice sessions are more effective at building your skills and confidence than long, occasional ones. Just work it into your daily schedule. My daughter has begun practicing right after school and it has made a huge difference. Even 10 to 15 minutes can be effective and it makes learning so much more fun when you see yourself improving!
